Astrobiologists study some of the universe’s most captivating questions! Ever since E.T. phoned home, our generation has wondered “Are we alone out there?” For that matter, how the heck did we get here anyway? What, if anything, makes the third rock from the sun so special? There are so many questions and problems, and astrobiologists systematically research and discover to find the answers and solutions.

While we can only dream about life on Mars or the future of life as we ride the bus home, astrobiologists actually have the tools and ingenuity to study these questions!
