Goal: Science is all around us.  I believe students need concrete experiences to become actively involved in their own learning process and make connections between the science they learn in the classroom and the science of the world in which they live.  Throughout their experience in science this year, students will learn study skills, explore their ability to predict consequences by changing variables, and have many opportunities to share ideas through interactions with other students.

Most importantly, students will be encouraged to synthesize the new concepts and background knowledge they’ve gained with hands-on, real world science applications
